WW - Rolex Oyster Perpetual "Meters First" Submariner, ref 5513, date code II-67 circa 1967, 42mm including crown guards x 47mm to lug tips, 20mm lug width, original stainless steel screw back Oyster case and bi-directional timing bezel with original MK2 bezel insert still retaining its original pearl, riveted Oyster bracelet with fold over clasp and raised Rolex logo, original black matte meters first dial with tritium painted lume plots, 17J cal 1520, s#1781522, triple signed with signed clasp, bracelet ref 7206 with 80 end pieces and a 1/69 date code, inside back ref 5513. Includes two extra full links for the bracelet. An excellent example in a world where finding unmolested pieces is becoming harder and harder to find.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, no oxide, very light micro-fine scratches to plate edges, very light spotting on rotor edge; nearly flawless dial with idyllic cream lume plots; hands have aged to a dark blackish brown color; lightly polished case shows little wear, lug chamfers are visible and crisp, typical dings on the backs of the lugs from bracelet wear; bracelet shows very light wear, very little stretch; original Rolex crown shows little wear, good threads; good crystal; resealed for auction.
